The Cherry Blossom Girl has done a fabulous job of capturing Holly Golightly's life at the make-shift New York City apartment she shared with the nameless cat. Holly is a gripping character on so many unexpected levels, but I'm always fascinated by the courage with which she walks that delicate line between freedom and heedlessness. Maybe we should have a contest to name her cat?
Shall we call the cat Truman?
How about Givenchy, the designer of her gowns?
I finally saw this movie last week and I loved it.
