A Plateful of Records...

Found on illustrator Helen Dardik's fantastic blog, Orange You Lucky. Lucky to find you Ms. Orange!

UPDATE. Comment from Miranda:
I miss record jackets, particularly the big LP ones. They always looked so good propped in front of the stereo. . .like a rotating art exhibit.

Tina, I've been reading your blog on the QT for about three weeks now and lovelovelove it. After a crazy day at work, I clicked over to see what you are up to today and I must say j'adore the record sleeves. So happy!

Thanks for all you do to make the world a more colorful place.

Hi Tina, Thought I'd refer you to the "4 Square Record Frame" by Able+Baker, a small Oakland, CA design company (www.ableandbakerdesign.com.) This frame is a perfect way to display records and make a rotating art exhibit. I have a couple hanging in my house and they're a lot of fun!

I'm a big fan of album art and love the post - thank you.

I've just seen some photos somewhere recently of these frames you can buy which are the perfect size for framing old LPs. Must find where that was...
