Tuesday

bardot

Hello everyone! Happy Tuesday. Today is my day to get caught up on everything. (Or at least try). I'm feeling much better after a full 9 hours of sleep. I have more wonderful Polaroids I want to show you. Will upload them this evening.

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you this picture of Brigitte Bardot. I've had it up as my computer wallpaper. It's been inspiring me to, well, grow my hair and get back into shape (ha!).

I found it in the LIFE magazine archives, where there are tons of photos of everyone famous you can imagine. It's an excellent resource for blog art! I could spend hours browsing. I adore vintage photographs from old magazines.

Alas, now I have to work...sigh...

Have a wonderful day!

What a beautiful photograph of Brigette. I could get lost in the Life Magazine archives for hours. I cannot wait to see the new polaroids. I know you can't give out your secret, but I would love to know where you are finding the film! Glad you are feeling rested. Have a lovely day Tina!

Sigh, what a gorgeous picture. Makes me want to grow my hair again (after I just cut it in a bob!)

I knew it was Brigitte Bardo immediately. How old is she now? I know she lives (d) in S. of France with all her dogs.

I love the way this photo is put together, she acts so natural in front of the camera and I think that's what makes it more beautiful than anything. Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks for the LIFE reminder, T. I'm conflicted about these photos (ones I post as well). I'll think about it; I just took out a lot of typing about 'beauty is as beauty does' stuff. Which I believe...but it's really a discussion for elsewhere, perhaps.

I leave here satisfied, though, with my hair's length (similar to BB pix) but to those who have cut/will cut their hair: the coolest style I ever had was a Seberg-Capucine-AH cut (& the best photos I have of myself are those, so...

What I do not leave here satisfied with...where are my nine hours of sleep? It must be the bad vibes here in DC, man. So the rose photo that I only saw today (the feeds is slow for some reason) was much appreciated, T. bisou & baci to all.

xoxo
