Bello Mr. Bello

roland bello
I took a stack of magazines -- including some old issues of Gourmet magazine -- with me to the hospital when I was visiting my dad. I was reminded of the gorgeous photography of Roland Bello. His website is positively luscious. (A sampling of some of his interior photos above.)

And a few of his food photos over here!

I particularly love the roses on the verge of drying. There's something about the lifetime of a rose...even its decay is beautiful.

Love and hugs to your day from Maryland.

His rose photos are almost as good as yours.

dear Tina, you hit the spot - dragging my mind and heart right in - color and content - lush and light.
Memory and mind. The roses and the colors echoed in the rooms. Love it.
Adore the glimpse into Bello. obviously a rose man, himself.

Thank you! Hope your dad is feeling well enough to enjoy your fabulous roses.

I love when roses get to that stage just before their petals start falling off. Mature beauty. They look so luscious and smell so fragrant. And feel somehow so decadent. They give all they can give and then surrender. xoxo
