Moonrise

moonrise

The moon is rising in the east over California cypress and palm trees...

moonrise
...its shimmer reminds me of everything that's beautiful.

I hope you had a lovely day! Looking forward to Friday.

I was just admiring that moon tonight while out for an evening stroll with my daughter. I realized I'd never had a chance to show her the moon, and tonight was the perfect night...only trouble was, I couldn't figure out how to explain to a 19-month-old what a "moon" was. I don't think we've even covered the "sky" yet, so that was a tough one. That round thing...that shining (wait, she doesn't know "shining")...that bright-white round thing in the...uhm....

Very nice! I'd love a collage of all your palm tree images Tina. They all have a different mood to them, and all of them simply make my day every time you post one. Beautiful!
Best wishes for your Dad and for a wonderful weekend for you!

I missed seeing the full moon last night, it cleverly escaped my gaze. But it sure did showed it's presence by not allowing me to sleep last night. Tossinga and turning, thinking about things one should not be thinking at 3 in the morning.
