Cloudy with a chance...

It's been so gloomy in Los Angeles...

But it doesn't really matter when your vantage point is Malibu...

My friend Veronique de Turenne blogs daily about the changing sky, and other scenes, on her beautiful blog Here in Malibu. She always transports me to the gorgeous beach town, home to some of the world's richest and most famous people. It's not uncommon to run into Barbra Streisand at the Starbucks.

Check out Veronique's observations and photos{here}

I used to work in Malibu, and no not a bad place to have to be all day.

It has it's own weird little vortex of energy that keep everyone spinning around. And the view is not bad either.

I love these photos. We usually have such crisp, dry weather here, but it's been rainy for weeeeeeks!

It's gorgeous. Sometimes I wish how I would like to live on the beach, then I look through my window and realise that I almost do. I'm very close to the ocean but quite far from the beach. I'd like to be able to wake up in the morning, open my glass sliding doors, or wooden shutter-doors (or whatever they're called!) and walk out onto the sand with my cup of coffee. Bliss.
