A New Way of Flying

1244644254389065
After hammering stars to the sky a couple weeks ago (see post here), Hanna L. continues with her Mary Poppins theme on her flickr page, this time styling a photo of a woman flying with an umbrella. I think Mary would be excited about the colors in this brolly. But I wonder what she would think about the dress.

Hanna explains in Hungarian in the photo caption: "Always wanted to have a similar atmosphere of a smiling picture of Mary Poppins:)."

I'm looking forward to the next installment!

it's beautiful and magical and uplifting (literally) but I don't think that Mary Poppins would go for that dress, well, maybe under several layers of tweed, bloomers and underskirting.

i'd like to float away today...

So whimsical! I love the rainbow umbrella...I think I used to have a similar one when I was a little girl. Probably had some clothes with ruffles as well!

Maybe Mary Poppins of today would wear a cute little number like that? I think she'd be darn cute. Can I join in the floating away party? I only have an old, cheep, a bit proken umbrella, but maybe it would do? xoxo

I was never really keen on Mary Poppins the movie when I was a kid, but even as a teenager and twenty something, I often dream about flying in the same way this photo depicts....
