Day of the Dead

I love this post-Halloween holiday, especially the Mexican sugar skulls and the macabre music, like "Secret" by the Pierces.

A flip-book video of the sisters' song -- with its pipe organ riffs -- is charming, although a little overloaded with gun imagery. So goes the holiday. I can't wait to hear more from this talented duo...

What do you think?

Dia de les muetros. Not sure about the spelling. I still can not believe that I remember that from 8th grade spanish class!

I love it! So spooky. I've never been a big follower of La Dia de los Muertos - but the imagery/ artwork is lovely. But I rather enjoy a song that can make an accordion sound cool!

I finally got to watch this and I'm so glad I starred it to remind me. Seriously awesome song (I'm humming it already) and a wickedly cool and unique video. Love it.
