Colin Firth

Hello everyone! I wanted to tell you that my story on Colin Firth ran today, if you're interested in seeing it. The link is here.  He's considered an Oscar contender for his role in Tom Ford's  "A Single Man," based on the Christopher Isherwood novel. He's also smart, down to earth, and -- well -- very handsome (tall, square jaw, curly brown hair). ... Ok, I'll stop. Check out the story and let me know what you think!  It was a piece I was working on at the LA Times...

UPDATE: I'm loving this newly released poster for the movie.

Well done, Miss Tina. I really enjoy your writing {as I enjoy Mr. Firth himself}.

They were fools to let you get away!

Cheers.

I realize I'm leaving a comment on almost all of your posts, but I just have to do it on this one too! That's amazing you got to do that, I think he's so great and gracious in every single way. And an incredible actor. I'm going to save the story to read later today!

Excellent piece (and love that shot of Mr Firth). Would love any comment (honest and brutal I don't mind) about a piece I wrote for Elle - want to be a better writer! Thank you in advance :) http://www.cricketwife.com/2009/12/elle-magazine-talent-competition.html

What a lovely read. Who could ever forget the moment Elizabeth stumbled upon Mr Darcy as he emerged wet and impossibly sexy from the lake? We rewound that scene so many times the tape stretched! I'm also rather fond of our Colin's character in Love Actually. One of our finer British exports I think!

Oh how I adore Colin Firth! He's one of the guys who tops my "Men Who Epitomize Dashing" list (right along with Cary Grant).

Lovely article. I'm intrigued by this story as well as Tom Ford directing — can't wait to see the movie.

My first question is how on earth did you manage to keep your composure whilst talking the man? I am sure I would have been distracted the entire time with the urge to ask inappropriate questions about wet white shirts!

Haven't read your article yet but had to say how much I love this actor. Just wonderful! He also runs a really smart eco-design shop in London with his wife and family.
Just woke up to this post, coffee and Colin is a nice start to the day!
