Very exciting!!

That's wonderful, Tina. I would love to be included in the giveaway. I must go now as I am in shock at Giulia the Gattina's behavior. She was just discovered with tissue paper shreds on her ear-tips. The damages: four boxes of (expensive) recycled tissue, opened, & shredded. She has been banished to her cat cottage. She has appealed to you & others (as supporters) to appeal her sentence. I told her Coco & Kali would never do such a thing. Back me up on this, even if it's not true.

ciao bella

Ah, those fabulous treats... and the elegant setting that is Laduree. Having experienced them before, I will defer my chance at receiving the macaroons in favor of someone who needs to savor them for the first time.

But to vicariously visit Laduree and see recipes of some of their other famous creations (surely the one for the macaroons must be a state secret), treat yourself to a little tour through Linda Dannenberg's book, "Paris Patisserie Boulangerie: Recipes from Thirteen Outstanding Parisian Bakeries" (Clarkson Potter, NY 1994). The fabulous photography puts you right in the setting and makes your mouth water, and the recipes are to dine for!!
