Jane Campion's Scrapbook

I've had this in my bookmarks for a long time and had forgotten all about it. It's the inspiration and scrapbook of film maker Jane Campion whilst she was working on the film Bright Star. There was a website too where she had all the work laid out like a big inspiration wall, but it has since been taken down.

I love seeing stills and the process that goes into creating the final work. I went to a photo shoot last week where I took some Polaroids of behind the scenes. I'm thinking Id like to make them into a scrapbook of some sort.

Hope you all had a great weekend!! x Liss

I watched it, finally, this weekend and it was unreal. I never wanted it to be over, it was so magical.

i LOVE this scrapbook... i could look at it all day. it's such a gorgeous film, jane campion really did a beautiful job in giving this story a life on the silver screen... and the actors did such an impeccable job, i feel so attached to them all!

I still haven't seen it but I love her scrapbook (so sad it was taken down). Maybe I'll just download it on iTunes tonight.

Hope you had a good weekend! xo

Lovely scrapbook. Jane Campion creates wonderful films - Angel At My Table was the 1st I saw, then The Piano and now, Bright Star. I thought it was wonderful but my partner fell asleep! Each to his own I guess ...

This is a great post. Thanks for sharing it. I don't know if you realize but her name is Campion and not Champion. Just wanted to let you know so you could fix it. Otherwise it is a very interesting post.

Loved it. Saw on huge screen at AFI...beautiful. Campion was very generous to put storyboards, etc. on the website...& pls forgive but I'm an editor & hope someone would tell me...

there's no 'h' in surname. Not criticizing...believe me.
