Taschen's Audrey Hepburn

The luxury books publisher released a glossy volume of Audrey photos last month...

The photos were taken by Paramount Studio stills photographer Bob Willoughby between 1953-1966. Taschen put the volume on sale Sept. 11, as part of an exhibit of the photos at its gallery in Brussels, Belgium.

At $700 each, the books sold out almost instantly.

If there's a second printing, this tops my Xmas list!

(Luckly you can see the entire book online here.)

Ah, these are superb .... thanks for the link Tina. $700 is slightly alarming though ... never mind

Wow, the pictures are really lovely, thanks for sharing them with us! However, as much I dig Audrey, I don't think I'd spend as much on a book with photos of her, at least not now...Well one can only hope! :)

I've looked at it & drooled. But $700, ha. Fortunately, I'm knee deep in AH books from bdays/holidays past. This would be great but...I guess the website & my annual AH Children's Foundation calendar will have to do.

ciao, Tina.

The style, the class the sophistication... I checked out the site. Is it just me or does the idea of spending four hundred and fifty pounds sound slightly better than seven hundred bucks? It is still a lot of money - but a beautiful book.
