All Things Jane Eyre

The new Jane Eyre movie opens on March 11 and it looks fantastic. Focus Features has set up
a website with tons of info about the movie and the book. I'm excited to see it!

Aww, I'm excited. The 2006 miniseries with Toby Stephens and Ruth Wilson will always be my favorite adaptation, but my opinion of this one is definitely growing as it gets closer.

Jane Eyre is my favorite book. Looking forward to seeing this new version, thought the Timothy Dalton BBC version was the best for me.
Happy week to you,
Mimi

I'm excited too, it's got a great cast of 'serious' actors and so hopefully it won't get the Hollywood treatment ... xx

I got the book a couple of years ago but still haven't read it. It's strange that I just started it today :) To be honest, I saw an announcement on Goodreads this weekend that they have a Jane Eyre challenge to read the book before the movie premiere. It is unfortunately only for US citizens as far as I remember but I thought I can read it anyways :) It will be the first book for me to ever read in English, I hope I manage to finish it fast :)
