Dear All, I'm giving away one of my Brad Pitt "Make It Right" newsboy caps! I purchased it in New Orleans during the launch of Pitt's effort to rebuild the lower 9th ward. (See Pitt, above, wearing his version of the hat.) To win, simply leave a comment on this post OR sign-up as one of my blog followers! (See sign-up link on the right. Please join the lovely Urban Muse--my first follower--in tracking my latest posts!) The winner will be announced here on Monday evening! xoxxoUPDATE: Random Moments is the winner!!! Thank you all for playing. Stay tuned for more giveaways!
hello, hello, love your blog!
ReplyDeleteYah! Another Tina! Thank you! xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteIf I win I will put the hat on our dog and photograph it. She's a good sport. She's not fond of hats in general, but I think this one suits her.
ReplyDeleteAn excellent hat for dog or man!
ReplyDeleteIf I win the hat and give it to my boyfriend, will he look like Brad Pitt?
ReplyDeleteLeave it to the English Muse to pick up the portable essence of Pitt's serious, but boyish style. I hope I win.
ReplyDeleteIf I had that hat, I would wear it everywhere from work to the wine store, hoping it would remind me that a talent is something to be used for the good of others. I'm so glad you're treating Brad's work in New Orleans as seriously as it deserves to be treated. Did you do a story about it and is there a link?
ReplyDeleteYes! here's the link to the story i did on Pitt and "Make it Right"

One of the things I love about the English Muse is that she isn't afraid to have heart. I think all of us have been conditioned by experience to be skeptical of celebrities and their causes, but Pitt's work in New Orleans stands apart and the Muse isn't afraid to point that out. Like her tips on perfumes, it's a winning formula.
ReplyDeleteThe Muse's blend of serious journalism and seriously feminine hedonism is one of the things that makes this site a must-visit place on my personal web route. Thanks for the contest and the link to your wonderful article.
ReplyDeleteA seriously cute hat on a devastingly cute guy and a reminder that some causes are
ReplyDeleteeven more important than the celebrities who promote them. Thanks Muse.
I'll trade you my "Make it Right" T shirt for the hat....AND throw in a couple of signed black and white photos AND ANYTHING else you want.....PLEASE PLEASE pretty PLEASE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow this is cool count me in!
