A Twitter Over Lagerfeld

Karl

Direct Message: Karl, darling? Is that really you?

karl

Your twitter updates are so fantastic! Remember the time...

karl

...you twitted: "Throwing money out the window brings money back in through the front door." I hope you're right, because I've thrown lots out the window! (-30)

New Direct Message: It's ok if it's not really you. Whoever you are -- even if you are a guy posting from an apartment in Studio City -- keep at it!

Hello everyone. Happy Monday night. How are you? Are you recovered from the holiday?....Re: the photos above. For a laugh, I'm following THREE Karls on Twitter. They're are marvelously entertaining. (And maybe one of them is real. Who knows!)

Just for fun, here are their links:

Fake Karl Lagerfeld

The (probably fake) Karl.

And the definately car-trunk knockoff Karl.

If you want to follow them, follow me too!!! I'm for real!

My link {here}.

xoxo

  1. Hilarious! Tina, you temptress, you are not making my join twitter! I am still resisting!

Would one twitter be enough for Karl? I think all three simply MUST be him. And why not! As flamboyant, as extravagant, and as eccentric as one can be is the way to go.

    P.S.
Showing your nickels and dimes to the moon apparently also brings money.

  5. It's worth pointing out that the ORIGINAL fake karl has a blog, too- and has been writing it for about a year: fakekarl.blogspot.com. He's brilliant. The others are simply knockoffs. Like fake Louis Vuitton bags.

  7. Tina, That is so strange that you received a message like that yesterday of all days, from "Mr. Lagerfeld". I will send you an email and tell you why. So keep following the money out the window guy.

  13. I love the idea of following three fake Karls :) I don't follow celebrities as a rule, but I'd make an exception for him! This idea of using Twitter as inspiration for blog postings is great, too. It's wonderful to be able to have a conversation and post thoughts on that in a longer post! Hope you're enjoying your week.

  16. I smell a script for a wacky new comedy.

This dude is 75. If I look like that when I'm 75 I will make a large donation to the condensed milk foundation.
