I'm rushing out to get my hair done so that people do not shriek when they see me. Since the salon is in Georgetown, yes, a few last moment pop-ins to shops. (Just a few though:) I've already ruined yesterday's manicure. Do you think I'm being punished for self-indulgence?

PS: verificaiton word ' alcemi' ! Close enough to count (for me)
Can I join you? haha....I am also from SoCal but am going to NoCal for the holidays...those photos look amazing...as long as I didn't have to drive in that weather and could sit and watch movies or hang out with friends and family...that would be awesome...be safe out there in last minute shopping land! xxoo
Oh, what lovely photos! There's nothing like some warm light to cut through the darkness around. Thank goodness the days will be getting lighter now. Have a lovely holiday in Los Angeles!
Snowy dreams? The airports are backed up, flights canceled, even Amtrak has cut back on trains due to the recent blizzard here on the East coast. Careful what you wish for. Merry Christmas.
The snow is always whiter on the other side of the fence.... No snow here in the south of France either; I miss England terribly at Christmas, even after 20+ years. The presents are all bought but lots and lots of wrapping up to do so I'm spending my day with sticky tape and patterns! Have wonderful festive holiday! Joyeux Noel!
well, i spent the day with immediate family, very casual. we actually went to see Sherlock Holmes. big day w/ extended family will be tomorrow.
i wish that i was in that cabin. i've always dreamed & wished for a weekend getaway in a beautiful cabin like that with nothing around but cocoa, wine, firewood, books, & a hot man luv. :o) hell, if i'm wishing, make it a month getaway!
I will also be in Southern California dreaming of these winter-y places -- love the photos =)
