Bits of Inspiration
I love tooling around We Heart It for pictures of lovely and unusual things. The carnival ride is fantastic. So are the bubbles and stars. But that picture of the soaps shaped like doll hands. Both weird and wonderful. I couldn't resist including it in this little collage...
PS: Here's the link to my I Heart It page. The photo credits are there (sort of). It's a little hard to figure out where the photos originated from. Let me know if you know so I can give them credit!
UPDATE: The first photo is "The Swing Set" by Irene Suchock. (Thank you Maria-Therese!) The star and the hearts pictures look like hers as well.
The bottom right photo of the flower is by the fantastically talented Mrs. French.

Is it possible that you could provide a link to the site where you found the pictures?
I love the hearts and bubbles. Gorgeous!!
i heart your we heart it photo choices! x
I love the carnival picture, I have a thing for those!
Where did you find the little hand soaps?
They're lovely.
The dolly hand soaps are great! I would love to buy some of those.
vintage good-ness!
The little hands freaks me out a bit but it would be surprisingly cute in the bath! Very pretty collage!
Congratulations girl, you've hit the big time! I'll be dropping by again!
perfect way to start the day! thanks, tina.
Brings to mind "Mad men"
Beautiful collage! I'd like to have a dream like this, then wake up and remember the dream and have that happy, mellow feeling all day. You know the feeling I'm writing about?
Good morning everyone!!
Here's the link to We Heart It. I also added it to the post!

My first visit here, and I love it, very excentric and charm pics.
Thanks
Love your blog and just read a beautiful post on inspiration which made me wonder, did you ever manage to take a picture of your inspiration board? I would so much love to see it!
Hello English Muse,
You are "smoking" hot! I like the Polaroid. You look like you're on a dirt road with Brad Pitt in "Kalifornia". I love beauty too, as the great William Blake wrote, "Beauty is truth, truth beauty, that is all there is to know, and all you need to know." Stay beautiful, sweetheart!
The collage is beautiful! It felt like I was in another place and time. Maybe the soothing afternoon light and soft aromatic spring air is helping the process!
Wow! Those pictures looked so beautiful. The hands in the bathroom was really out of the ordinary. Never saw that before!
oh my! Thank you :) For the inspiration images, and the whole new world of weheartit. I think I'll be browsing the night away!
I love your blog, I discovered it today and I am hooked!
just discovered your sweet blog, yay!
adore the we heart it collage, very lovely selection...
Hi,
As an artist & photographer I must say sites like We Heart It are very upsetting - not to mention illegal. Often you see artwork floating around in so many places with no credit whatsoever to the artist - no one's asked for permission, and when there's not even a link back..!
Just because something is pretty doesn't mean you can steal it.
There was the whole Polyvore ordeal a while back - I had collages stolen (journal pages, no less!) and put in some sort of fashion collage along with clothes. No one asked. I didn't want my pictures used in that context.
PLEASE please think twice or three times or just once for a really long time before posting others' work without proper credit. I understand We Heart It can be fun but for those of us who take these photographs for a living, who pour our souls into every frame - well, let's just say we don't heart it.

I agree and understand. I've had people use my photos as well without credit.
Photos and art get recycled from one blog to the next, and the credit gets lost in the process. Maria-Therese's comments are an important reminder that more care should be taken.

Oh how delightful!!!
Hi again,
The first photo is "The Swing Set" by Irene Suchocki http://irenesuchocki.etsy.com
I suspect the one with the hearts and bubbles is hers as well. Can't believe that she doesn't put copyright marks on her images, they're quite desirable....
