Petal covered paths...

It seems all of Los Angeles is in bloom this week...

with yellow silk...

and pink velvet...

Trees that refuse to be upstaged...

By any other flower. Even if their beauty is short lived...

the first two photos are especially gorgeous. and here i thought LA was all about palm trees.

If the wind wasn't blowing so hard, LA is also quite fragrant to match those blooms.

Oh these are exactly my sort of photographs. I know you do it for all of us, but I take it as a gift. Mille grazie. Love the atmospheric color cast...we have similar flowering trees on "our" coasts...but look so different.
