Illustrations that warm my magpie soul...
...on this sunny Saturday morning.
I love these watercolors by illustrator Bella Foster (a frequent contributor to the NYT)...Bella, bella indeed!
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! I'm getting ready to get my hair done. (yay)
PS: I'm crushing on the plate wall and the green couch. And the mismatched bowls are beyond fabulous.

I love these illustrations! They are incredibly Matisse like, aren't they? Love the bright colors so much. They make me want do do things and go places and live life!
Remember - Bardot!

Tina Tarnoff (dare we regular readers call her "the other Tina"?)is right on the money. Matisse is the influence here, but the illustrator's take is so unself-concious and sunny that she really makes the work her own. The plate wall and couch are very nice.
These are so cute, I could see them in a kitchen for sure.
Happy weekend

These watercolors are so bright and freshly painted!! Beautiful :)
I absolutely adore the smudged chair.
These water colors have incredible energy for me. They're exciting, and have movement. Totally an "UP EXPERIENCE" .. As always...I want each and every one!!
I must move to a barn.
excellent!!!
