Random bits of inspiration:
A page from a 2006 Anthropologie catalogue (above)...and Mario Sorrenti's portrait of Kate Moss from 30 Days of Fashion (below)...
An image torn from a March 16, 2009 copy of The New Yorker...
It's an unattributed photograph from "Valentina: American Couture and the Cult of Celebrity," at the Museum of the City of New York.
All wonderful...

Are you Kate Moss's fan??
I found more about her in your blog!!
You always have the best finds. I love it.
I can't remember having seen a b/w anthro spread in a while!
These are all wonderful!
love love loving this last one
The top photos are so great, they project a lot of tension somehow, though! Nervousness before the shooting, sulking? :) And, honestly, I would like to order a some lips. Kate Moss lips. Is there a catalogue for that?! Please! And last, the red frames her face well. I wish they let her smile.
xoxo
The theme that runs through all these beautifully chosen photo is the persistence of real beauty in unlikely lights and angles. So stimulating, as usual.
