A Tiny Perfect Loft
Hello — Lori of automatism here again! Today I'm sharing an amazing space that I featured a while ago on my own blog, but one definitely well worth a revisit. This stylish mini-loft is, amazingly, only 57 square metres in size, but it feels as airy and bright as one four times bigger. Architect Philippe Harden bought a partitioned, narrow corridor-like apartment because he loved the view from the large windows, which open onto a park. After two months of work (spent mostly removing doors and walls) he has what you now see here — a serene, light filled environment. Look carefully and you can see how he makes every inch of space work, yet it still feels relaxed and effortless. One of my absolute favourite spaces from Marie Claire Maison.

What an awesome place! Thanks for sharing!
I adore that first picture. It's so light and airy!
I love this post! That is exactly the kind of place I want to live one day.
This place is heaven.
Oh my! Amazing colors and lovely little space.
I love seeing the creative use of smaller spaces. And these guest posts are great! Thanks for sharing.
How perfect...I love small spaces used wisely. That was a constant challenge for me in my NYC apartments and still is in my bigger but not actually "big" house. That peek of yellow from behind the door is so intriguing.
Smaller is so much better! If we could all just learn to live so efficiently....
I can't believe that they managed to work magic in a place so small! Not only is the design fabulous, but it's surprisingly practical. Thanks for sharing! This doesn't help my crazy obsession with moving to the city and living in a closet.
WOW...57 meters?!? just shows how much space we waste on a daily basis...especially out in the suburbs where i live!
oh my gosh! I SO love that first photo! Now THAT is a dream room for me! Seriously! LOVE that side wall bookshelf. ROCK ON! :)
I am enjoying meeting all the visiting bloggers and their photos. Some beautiful images going on ladies. LOVING.
I live in a small loft myself, so this post is really inspiring to me. What a wonderful use of space and natural light. Thanks!
