Happy Saturday
Hello everyone. Happy Saturday! Hope you're having a lovely day. I wanted to share this Polaroid with you. I took it last week on the beach in Santa Monica. (You can sort of see the Ferris wheel in the background on the Santa Monica Pier).
What are you doing this weekend?
I LOVE Santa Monica! it is my favorite place in LA. this photo is so perfect. This weekend I plan to rest after a crazy week of out-of-town guests (family from LA!) and my show opening...and I have to get ready for the craziness of fashion week bc I'm shooting a couple of shows. it's 4:30 and I am still in my pajamas and it's raining! so...I think I'm doing nothing:) I hope you enjoy yours:)

Today in the UK was a beautiful September Saturday with the sun beating down and the beginnings of autumn turning starting to crinkle the leaves. I sat by a river and soaked it all up. I also sold my first painting which was a big YAY!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSeeing those palm trees and envisaging the dry heat was quite a contrast to my summer where every sunny day (and there were too few of them) was treasured. We really could do with borrowing a bit of LA weather every now and again!
I was in Santa Monica last week too! Maybe we passed each other and don't even know...
ReplyDeleteI'm in the UK now (was in the LA area to sort out my visa)... This weekend I met all of my boyfriend's friends, and tomorrow we're going on a day trip with his family!

Well, not that....so long since I have seen the beach or palm trees for that matter! so serene and beautiful, that image brings back many memories....

I just got married and came back from honeymoon this week so l'm adjusting to my new status as a wife and still sorting out washing, unpacking and trying to find places for our new wedding gifts to live in our already cramped home! x faye x
