But today I was out braving the weather, driving from Beverly Hills to Hollywood for two movie screenings. First one: A Single Man, with Colin Firth. (Wait till you see Julianne Moore's house in the movie. It's gorgeous 60s chic -- Tom Ford style!) The second movie: A Serious Man, a la the Coen brothers. A Serious Man was very funny but a Single Man made me cry. Now I'm too tired to go to bed.
Tomorrow: Sunshine.

PS: Here's a little more detail about A Single Man on Woolfe & Wilde.

I love the rain so I don't have to wash my car! Can't wait to watch 'A Single Man'...I'm sure the art direction is gorgeousss...
~xo Tina!
I've been enjoying the rain here in LA for the past 2 days. I stayed in without feeling guilty, it was wonderful!
I want to see A single Man too, not only for all the great things that you've mention but also because Juliane Moore is one of my favourite actress!!
I hope it would rain very soon here, I love the sound of rain...!
I'm really glad that it's been raining back home...LA definitely needs it! San Diego was supposed to experience some showers today but that didn't happen...mostly sunny skies.
That video is such a brilliant idea!! I love every moment of it. It has been raining non stop here too! And it is crazy cold, so of course I get sick. But they are saying it will snow this weekend. Can you imagine?? Snow in North Carolina in OCTOBER. That would break records, and make for some amazing pictures. I hope you are well!! I love your blog, and I am semi-happy that being sick gives me some time to really read it.
Lovely video. I guess that's as close as I'm going to get to the rain for awhile. I'm fascinated that it can rain so much in LA but all we get here in San Diego are some clouds. I need a good rainstorm.
That video is very relaxing! I'm here in LA as well...I think the rain is done with now, at least for a little while..
that's a lovely video. I enjoyed the rain too - but my power was out for 24 hours as a result and that was a little annoying :)
PS: and yes people suck at driving in the rain here!!
God, I love the sound of the rain :) And yes, unfortunately, most LA drivers have no idea how to drive in the rain. It's rather unbearable. I do wish it was raining at the moment though, now that it's 90 degrees!
