South African artist and stylist Neville Tricket produces the most interesting diptychs. Here he juxtaposes modern clothing tags against old fashioned sewing notions. Have a look:
There are even more on Trickett's blog, Saint Verde Digest. Let me know what you think! Creating diptychs seems so easy to the casual observer, yet it's actually very complex. Like mathematics translated into visual beauty.

I love Saint Verde Digest. Came across it through the South African Elle decoration site. Wonderful posts every time!
Love this. So clever and beautifully executed.
I surely haven't said it often, but I just love you, English Muse! And your newest blog is unbelievably fantasticly fabulous. I saw those scissors at upper right felt immediately LOVE. My great aunt handed hers down to me and my sister also gave me a pair. I'm a lousy knitter and crafter, but I love cutting yarn and fabric with either pair of my stork scissors. Thank you so much for always inspiring!
Oh what a good eye! Very nice new blog too!!
If you like his photography, you should see his house! I did a little blog post on it a while ago... http://southofthesahara.blogspot.com/2009/03/from-san-francisco-to-kwa-zulu-natal.html
