How divine!
Oh, How I have always wanted to go to Laduree!. They say it is an experience a girl would never forget.
How thoughtful of you to bring these back to share!
La Bonne Femme
Beautiful! Macarons and Photography---two of my favorite things! So jealous you went to Laudree.
Very exciting!!
That's wonderful, Tina. I would love to be included in the giveaway. I must go now as I am in shock at Giulia the Gattina's behavior. She was just discovered with tissue paper shreds on her ear-tips. The damages: four boxes of (expensive) recycled tissue, opened, & shredded. She has been banished to her cat cottage. She has appealed to you & others (as supporters) to appeal her sentence. I told her Coco & Kali would never do such a thing. Back me up on this, even if it's not true.
ciao bella

So pretty!
I'm going to Paris on March, and I've never been there, so your posts are very inspiring to me! Thank you for your beautiful blog, and I hope I'll be lucky enough to win this giveaway!
Ooo French macarons! C'est magnifique!

I've really enjoyed your blog posts and pictures! It makes me want to get out of Pasadena (while I love it so) and travel soon!
Your posts and pictures from Paris make me want to go myself! Maybe if I close my eyes and enjoy one of these delicious macarons I can pretend.
Oh! how i would love to taste one of those! I haven't yet, but they look amazing!!
Your pictures of Paris make me really look forward to my trip, i love them!
i must admit that i have been eyeing these delicious looking treats for some time now, but have never actually tasted one before! i can't think of a better way to taste my first macaron than to taste one from france!
Surprisingly-I have never tasted a macaron! Where have I been?
Ahhh! J'adore Laduree! Welcome home from your incredible trip!
je suis sûr que c'est si bon!

Oui, oui, s'il vous plait!
The best macarons I've ever had were in Toulouse, and since I can't get over to France nearly as much as I'd like, these would be a very welcome reminder of my trip there.
Mmmmm macaroons! I love them. I just don't know of any place around here that sells them.
You are too sweet, I love that you're sharing a little bit of Paris with us :)!
These are my new obsession. They are so pretty and delicious!
When I came home from studying abroad in Paris for six months, I brought my parents a box of macarons (though they were from Gerard Mulot). I adore Laduree though! And all macarons!
You devil/darling, you! {I'm drooling at the keys as I type}: Hope you've enjoyed your travels abroad, lovely.
Cheers.
Wow, colorful AND delicious! Love it.
What a wonderful treat to brighten up the winter!

Wow! Your pictures from Paris inspired me! Two summers ago I was there seeing it all for the first time. I think I had the perfect lemon tart there, but never the perfect macaron!
I am so IN!
By the way, I'm going to Paris again in a couple of months and was wondering if you've thought about a blog post about your favourite places/tips for travellers. I've visited lots of places on my previous trips, but it would be nice to have your opinion :)
Omg, I want! So glad you're back, can't wait to see all the photos and hear about Paris!
I've always wanted to go to Paris! A lovely bunch of blog posts, by the way. :)

If those macarons are sent my way, I will die a happy lady. Laduree is, how you say, the beesknees. I would even happily exchange them for a pretty little original drawing.

My birthday is in a week, & these would LITERALLY BE THE BEST GIFT EVER!
i've been having sweet, colorful macaron dreams lately. I'm pretty sure that they want me too :)

The problem with Laduree macarons is that they are so divinely beautiful, you feel the tiniest bit guilty eating them! Have a safe trip home.
Oh, bonjour macaroons. =) I loved reading about your trip and lovely apartment.

your pictures are beautiful, makes me want to go back right away!
ps there was a comment above about not finding macarons in Toronto, there is a café called Nadege that they can go to on queen st w. hopefully they read this.
I've seen so many posts and photos about these, I'm dying to try one! (or a whole box) They're so beautiful.
I have been enjoying your blog in my bloglines list. It's great to see and read all the nifty information and happenings that you have posted.
I have been stalking macarons for awhile now, wishing that there was a place in town that made them. I have begged our local bakery to make me some. The colors and the friendly look just appeal to me. I love cupcakes and these would be an upgrade to cupcakes. lol :) xoxox
oh, you're just the nicest person, to share the goodness!
They look so delicious, have never tasted them.. and never been to Paris. I looked so lovely in your posts!
so beautiful, would love a bite!
these are absolutely gorgeous! x
Ah, those fabulous treats... and the elegant setting that is Laduree. Having experienced them before, I will defer my chance at receiving the macaroons in favor of someone who needs to savor them for the first time.
But to vicariously visit Laduree and see recipes of some of their other famous creations (surely the one for the macaroons must be a state secret), treat yourself to a little tour through Linda Dannenberg's book, "Paris Patisserie Boulangerie: Recipes from Thirteen Outstanding Parisian Bakeries" (Clarkson Potter, NY 1994). The fabulous photography puts you right in the setting and makes your mouth water, and the recipes are to dine for!!
Today is my lucky day! I just found a gold wedding band on the sidewalk in front of Laduree!
I will gladly give it to you for just one of those macarons.
I love your blog! I've been reading for months now... would LOVE some macarons! Please!
your stay in Paris looked wonderful...but how could it not be...it is PARIS!!
Just came across this blog. It's lovely! I love macarons but have never had Laduree macarons!
I would love to win, like everyone here. :) Maybe it will be my turn to win, maybe not. No matter, delight in throwing my ring in! :)

Is it too late? Ooooh, I hope not!
I'd love to taste those macaroons I've read soo much about. . . your blog is absolutely beautiful. One word of heartfelt advice. . . let go of the angst over your old job. Don't let one institution, one person, one group of people define who you are or what you can be. I've been there. I know.
I adore Paris and Laduree. Still trying to get a transfer to one of our European offices...
although I've never been to Paris, my lovely husband smuggled some Ladurée macarons home for me -- I've been in love ever since....

@maria s:
I think I've been able to let it go, most of it anyway. this trip really helped me to do that...
my ex took me to maison laduree on our first date (we met in paris). He was too cheap to buy anything, and we ended up just having coffee... these look AMAZING. I remember I was blown away by Maison Laduree.
my goodness, i'll bet those are such a delight!!
I learned to love macarons in Paris and since I've been back in the States, I have yet to find a decent one. Ah, I miss them! These would be so nice to receive!

They look so delicious!
I've lived in Paris a few times and visited many more, but my last visit was ages ago and I'm dying for a real macaron!
Macarons!! Sacre bleu! Yes, please. :-)
Does a better food exist? I think not.
Yum :)
They are so beautiful! Thank you for your posts from Paris, they have completely inspired me to return, I went there in 08 with my 9 year old daughter and we walked Paris, it was the most magical trip ever for both of us, the Louvre at night, night time fair ground rides and picnics by the Seine. Your photos evoked such memories, so we are planning to go again this summer and are even looking into staying at your beautiful little apartment! So thank you sooo much again. xxxxxx
Oh, I have been loving your Paris posts!
I would LOVE to win the macaroons! They look scrumptious! I love your posts on Paris. I especially love My Little Paris Apartment. So charming! :)
I love your blog!
Love your posts on Paris!
Love macaroons also!
Penelope Bianchi
I have dreamt about those macarons for over a year now! But I'm not in Paris so please make my dream come true!
I am in need of a bit of Paris, and since I cannot jump on a plane, the macaroons will do famously!
Ahh, pick me! I've never had a macaron... in fact, before reading lovely blogs such as this one, I had never even heard of them. Now, they seem rather emblematic of the type of blog I love most....
And besides, they seem so much more lovely and indulgent than boring ol' macaroons.
