Happy weekend lovies! Here are some of the things I've been reading/obsessing over on the web this week:
Christian Dior's yummy couture confections.
The New York Times review of the new Warren Beatty book,
Star, by Peter Biskind.
Is it always best when it snows at night?
Steve Job's secret dinner with NYT execs: Can the iPad help save newspapers?
The best lingerie stores in LA. (Our girls from Frou Frou Fashionista made the list!)
Meanwhile, here's some of my freelance work on the Internet this week:
An essay for Los Angeles Magazine on why I started English Muse.
And a book party for Mika Brzezinski at Arianna Huffington's house.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!! What do you have planned?

Yes, don't give it away! (The essays...I think maybe people who don't write for a living don't understand.)
it's true. plus real writing is stressful -- and i wanted EM to be stress free...
I loved your essay. I started my blog as I had lost my best friend to cancer last year and I was trying to find a creative outlet to channel my time and my grief. In doing so, I have met so many fabulous people thru their blogs, just amazing... :)
I thoroughly enjoyed the article about how your blog came about. Your blog has definitely become a beautiful resting spot for the eyes. Job well done! Have a wonderful weekend.
This weekend I went to a wedding on Saturday, then we went to my hubby's aunts house, we ended up watching So You Think You Can Dance, playing Wii Fit and eating fish and chips lol.
Then on Sunday I slept till about 10:30 (I guess I was tired lol), we hung out for a little while then had lunch and went shopping in Bury. (a town near the Aunt's house - a new shopping centre/village thing has been built there.)
Im in love with that picture
