They immediately took up residence on the windowsills. They seem to be recovering from our move. I am too.
There's only one way to fight these house blues: Decorate. I'm putting most of my rustic pine furniture from the old house on consignment. Tomorrow I'm starting my quest for new things for our new abode!

Shopping for new things is always fun, especially furniture. New and different pieces to set whatever mood and tone you want :) Have fun!
Btw, I am having a small giveaway on my blog if you're interested. It's running through Friday :)
My cats hid for days when I first moved them out to CA. It didn't help that they had survived a 6 hour plane ride from the East Coast. Once they were out, that's when it started to feel like home.
I've just been reading through your past posts about the move. I'm glad the cats are settling in OK. The view is nice too.
the view is lovely, hope the birds will fly by & entertain your kitties!
Have fun decorating~ it's the best part, isn't it?!
xo
The cat looks regal and very much in control, even from the back, as cats do so well. Glad you're all getting over it, now flip that furniture and show us the result!
Mid century modern perhaps??? Good luck, I know you'll find great things at better prices :)
Cat & human here--
Coco & Kali have a new program (as looking out window is Cat TV). Excellent. Also, go for it about the furniture.

Decorating is always a good remedy for the blues. I'm always envious of cats on window sills--they always seem to be in a pure state of bliss.

A clean slate is best. Reinventing oneself can be fun. Make the most of it! Happy hunting!
As long as cats have windows and interesting views, they're happy :)
Gorgeous view! Looks like you have some lovely big windows there in your new home.
I'm glad the cats are settling in OK. The view is nice too.
