Ah yes, I love Wisteria - so dreamy and romantic. I always wanted to live in a cottage with Wisteria growing all over it and hollyhocks in the garden with a rose arbour leading up the garden path!!
How nice to have that, it takes ages to establish if you plant yourself so nice to have it blooming already! here in UK it's still bare branches and little sign of buds...

I love wisteria! We had a huge vine growing on our fence that I planted when we first bought our house, but we had a huge flood in September and it ripped it knocked the fence and wisteria down. The roots are still there so I'm hoping it will grow back eventually.

Lucky you! If you'd had to plant it yourself it would have looked like a dead branch for at least 2 years. In this difficult year I'm glad you were blessed with coveted wisteria blossoms.

I'm partial to any kind of flowers Canada offers, and I think the purple ones you feature above are just the perfect sample. You should post more.
