We're back from our trip to the High Sierra. It was, well, bliss. I'm wading through a mountain of laundry. Will be back to regular blogging here later this week (I'm not sure, is anyone still out there reading this? I hope so!).

PS: The photo -- taken by the lovely Emma -- is of a young buck who wandered through our camp almost daily...

nice shot tina...we have had a large group of deer int ehyard this week...about 8 or 9...hope you had a great trip!
I'm still reading! Your cabin get- away sounds just wonderful. I moved my blog(s) to a new location while you were away. I hope you will stop by for a visit. I'm looking forward to hear more about your summer! I'm planning a week in Glacier National Park mid-Sept and how I would love to find a cozy cabin to stay in...
That deer looks like a statue!
Hey, silly. Of course, we're here.
Looking forward to hearing about the cabin, pix, etc. I remember those beautiful Polaroids from last summer. (Canoes, I think...you had one on Lori's blog...or I'm dreaming:)
(There was a buck right outside my apt. door a few weeks ago. We were both quite startled. It is one block over from DC, you know. I "herded" him back 'round to the finger of Rock Creek Park behind here. Yikes.)
What a great shot! How cool!
AquĆ estamos,
xx
I thought the deer was a statue, haha. So glad you're back lovely, I missed you. xo
Definitely still reading! Welcome home from your wonderful adventure :)
Hooray - it's so good to have you back!
I didn't realise that deer was real until I read it, derrr. Welcome back, I'm looking forward to lots more new posts. Love from London x

Yes, we're still here; even from the UK ;)
It's tough to come back home and leave the dear deer behind. Take it easy!
I'm reading! Good to see you posting!! Hope you're doing well!
My gosh, it almost looks fake! That is so neat. The other day I was driving home from the gym and saw what was either a sheep or a goat on the side of the road! I called 911 (who else does one call in those situations) and, thankfully, help was already en route. The little man wandered away from a nearby farm! Anyway, hope you're having a wonderful weekend:) xo
That Jean Seberg was beautiful. . Sounds like an interestig trip.
