This is my favorite time of year in Los Angeles. The air smells like a spray of perfume -- white star jasmine mixed with orange blossoms. Here are a few snapshots from various locales. (The swans are at the Hotel Bel-Air! The telephone wires are, unfortunately, from my backyard. ) There are camellias blooming with azaleas. And all the fruit trees are flowering.
I'm happy until I get an allergy attack, like now. I have a headache from all this beauty!

Hello Tina!
You have already inspired me! What a wonderful blog! Happy Spring!
All the best, :-)***
Thank you Fada!!
Oh, is that what spring should look like?
In our world, spring looks like brown grass and mud.
Until May.
We could use some LA-style spring...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am thinking I will be having them up in my shop next week. They will make super cute early mother's day gifts and I have received so many requests.

what a stunning mix of images...and how you described it? I can smell the orange blossoms.
Your evocation of sping is so wonderful and convincing that I had to take a hay fever pill, but when there are swans gliding by, who cares.
Ah, spring! It just dumped nearly two feet of cold, light snow here in Denver, killing all of the beautiful white blossoms that had bloomed on our neighborhood trees. Sigh. That's life in CO. I imagine we'll have a second bloom, though...this time pink!
I can't wait for Spring to bloom here in Michigan. Things are just beginning to bud out some.
Beautiful blog :)
Tina, believe it or not it is actually getting warmer here as well. It is actually quite early for that usually we have snow on the ground in June! Thank you so much for the beautiful photos. I'm with you though, it's all beautiful and wonderful until the allergies attack. But after the looong dark winters in Helsinki I'll take the allergies for a few weeks.
Great post!
